Job Description

The Community Assistant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to residents, assisting in planning and executing community events, maintaining positive resident relations, and supporting daily operations within the community. Effective communication and time management skills are essential.

Reports to:

Community Manager

Responsibilities
  1. Resident Experience
    • Assist residents with tenancy issues and promote community events via social media.
    • Manage communications with residents and address concerns or conflicts.
  2. Property Operations
    • Perform daily checklists, respond to inquiries, and log activities.
    • Enforce community policies and participate in turn-related activities such as move-ins, inspections, and unit make-readies.
  3. Education & Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Currently pursuing a relevant bachelor’s degree preferred.
  4. Skills & Abilities
    • Strong organization, reliability, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and flexibility to work 15-20 hours weekly including evenings and weekends.
  5. Work Environment & Physical Demands
    • Moderate noise level, no travel required, and physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, and handling objects.
