Job Description Summary

The Community Assistant (CA) supports property management in achieving occupancy and retention goals through administrative tasks related to leasing, marketing, and customer service at the community.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform administrative tasks such as copying documents, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling resident calls, and organizing rent payments.
  2. Assist with leasing activities including virtual tours, responding to inquiries, greeting prospects, conducting tours, and showing apartments.
  3. Prepare lease paperwork and organize resident files.
  4. Support move-in and move-out processes; work on these events as mandatory; request time off in advance if needed.
  5. Answer calls and set appointments for property tours.
  6. Conduct on-campus marketing outreach to generate awareness and traffic.
  7. Coordinate resident events and programs to enhance satisfaction.
  8. Schedule and conduct resident visits, distribute notices, and manage resident communications.
  9. Act as after-hours liaison, respond to emergencies, and work a minimum of 10 hours weekly.
  10. Be enrolled at a local university in good standing and live onsite unless approved otherwise.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
