Job summary

Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services is seeking an ACT Therapist/Vocational Specialist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Fayette County, PA. This full-time, on-site role combines therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and vocational support for adults with serious mental illness.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, and behavioral health professionals to deliver person-centered care, support employment goals, and foster community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related field.
• Experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs preferred.
• Interest in supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Deliver case management and rehabilitation services.
• Assist clients with employment and vocational goals.
• Support daily living skills and community integration.
• Coordinate care with families, providers, and community resources.
• Respond to crises and provide recovery-focused support.
