Job summary

The role blends content creation, event support, and social media work in a hybrid, U.S.-based program. Responsibilities include materials development, coordinating with presenters, capturing stories, drafting content for webpages and newsletters, and assisting with community events.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program.
  • Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with video creation/editing and social platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing public/volunteer educational and training materials.
  • Collaborate with volunteer presenters to promote presentations.
  • Contribute to AARP North Dakota’s social media accounts, including video production.
  • Capture video and engaging stories at events for promotion.
  • Draft stories for the state webpage, news releases, newsletters, social posts and emails.
  • Assist in delivering events in the community as needed.
