AmeriCorps VISTA partner program in Hawaii seeks a Communications-focused staff member to advance outreach, event production checklists, podcast guidelines, and partner coordination. You will craft templates, share assessments, and help staff measure impact across household affordability programs.

The role requires a college graduate, strong communications, leadership, and public speaking skills, and availability for a full-time assignment in Hawaii, starting November 16, 2026 and ending

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating outreach and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to design event and communications toolkit and templates.
• Experience tracking outreach impact and reporting to staff.

Responsabilités

• Assess current outreach and follow-up practices and gather input from organizations serving low-income families about topics and formats.
• Develop a stakeholder directory and outreach plan to connect forums, recordings, and research with community organizations, educators, and public agencies.
• Design an event and communications toolkit: planning checklists, partner coordination procedures, podcast editing guidelines, a style guide, and accessible invitation and summary templates.
• Refine processes for sharing recordings and key takeaways after events.
• Create a feedback and tracking system to learn which partners are reached and what information is useful for future programs.
• Pilot the tools with staff on selected programs related to household affordability, refine them based on feedback, and prepare a written handoff guide and staff orientation.
