  • Current WA Manual Drivers Licence is essential.
  • Experience with Fleet management systems is highly desired.
  • Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol.

Overview

A Communications Technician will be part of a team that will perform installs, routine and adhoc maintenance, repairs and diagnoses malfunctions of microwave, telemetry, multiplexing, satellite and other radio and electromagnetic wave communication systems.

The Role

Communications Technician FIFO from Perth

8/6 Day Shift Only

$75 - $80 dependent on experience

8 month assignment with the potential for ongoing renewal

Start Date ASAP

The Successful Candidate
  • Current WA Manual Drivers Licence (essential).
  • Australian Trade Certificate in Electrotechnology, Communications or equivalent (essential).
  • Experience with Fleet management systems - Cat Minestar, Modular - highly desired
  • Networking experience - Cisco switches, Radio networking
  • Previous experience working with Digital radio
  • Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical - including Drug and Alcohol
  • Ability to provide a clean National Police Clearance
  • WAIO Inducted (preferred)
  • Only WA Residence will be considered
  • Full Australian Working Rights required
