Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a Test Engineer to design system- and unit-level test plans for communications systems, and to develop automated tests using Python and Bash. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development and system testing in Linux environments.
• Python and Bash scripting proficiency.
• System design, integration, and testing experience.
• Hardware and software integration experience.
• Experience in communication systems or related domains.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and execute system-level and unit-level test plans for communications systems and subsystems
• Develop and implement automation scripts for testing using Python and Bash
• Troubleshoot system issues across software, firmware, and RF/hardware components
• Support integration and validation of communication system prototypes and testbeds
• Analyze system performance data and support model verification and validation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, isolate, and resolve system anomalies
• Document test procedures, system behavior, and results clearly for technical reporting
