The Betsy Lehman Center, a Massachusetts state agency, seeks a Communications Program Coordinator to join a collaborative team dedicated to patient safety and healthcare quality. This full-time role reports to the Communications Director and offers a salary range of $65,000–$75,000.
The Center operates on a hybrid work model with two in-office days near Copley Square in Boston and three remote days weekly, enabling flexible, productive collaboration with state agencies, providers, and the public.
The Betsy Lehman Center is a dynamic state agency that plays a unique role in improving healthcare safety and quality in Massachusetts.
Our programming, research, policy and communications work engages other state health care agencies, providers, and consumers in initiatives. The Center, named for a Boston Globe health columnist who died in 1994 from a preventable medical error, is supported by and shares space with the state’s Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA).
We are seeking a resourceful individual to serve as the Center’s Communications Program Coordinator. This is a full‑time position, reporting to the Communications Director, with an annual salary of $65,000- $75,000.
The Center operates on a hybrid work model with two designated days each week in the Center’s office near Copley Square in Boston, allowing for flexible, remote work three days each week.
As the Communications Program Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to be part of a highly collaborative team, contribute to impactful public health programs and work with a variety of external stakeholders.
Applicants must have at least (A) 2 years of full‑time, or equivalent part‑time, professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management, program administration, program coordination, program planning and/or program analysis, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitution below.
