Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring a Communications, Policy, and Data Analyst to support program management, task execution, strategic planning, policy review, metrics generation, and reporting activities at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This role involves providing support to a unit-specific data team that executes numerous data analytics productions and responds to executive requests daily. The position is fully remote and available to candidates within the Continental United States (CONUS), with the option to work in person in DC as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data analysis and communication support, including drafting responses to congressional correspondence, requests for information, unit-specific taskings, and documentation for senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with federal law enforcement managers and subject matter experts.
  • Analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate complex policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Track and report progress on high-profile tasks, subtasks, and reports.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests such as research, process improvement, and special projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and compile information for timely responses.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions for client needs and challenges.
  • Support cross-discipline team members to ensure project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met.
  • Develop and disseminate information among customers and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a dynamic, quick-turnaround US government environment

Clearance Required: Ability to attain and maintain DHS clearance (US citizenship required)

Salary Range

The posted range is USD $80,000 - $90,000 per year, with actual offers depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Compensation may include additional elements discussed during hiring. The position is at-will, and salary modifications are at the company's discretion.
