Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring a Communications, Policy, and Data Analyst to support program management, task execution, strategic planning, policy review, metrics generation, and reporting activities at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This role involves providing support with data analytics and executing numerous data-related productions and executive responses on a daily basis. The position is fully remote and open to candidates within the Continental United States (CONUS), with the possibility of in-person work in DC as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis and communication support, including drafting responses to congressional correspondence, requests for information, unit-specific taskings, and documentation for senior leadership.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with federal law enforcement managers and subject matter experts.
• Analyze, interpret, and communicate complex policies, procedures, and programs clearly and succinctly.
• Track and report progress on high-profile tasks, subtasks, and reports.
• Assist team members with research, process improvements, and fast-moving projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and compile information for timely responses.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to address client needs and challenges.
• Support cross-disciplinary team efforts to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Develop and disseminate information and documentation to support the program.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience working in a dynamic, quick-turnaround US government environment.

Clearance Required: Ability to attain and maintain DHS clearance (US citizenship required).

Compensation

The posted pay range is USD $80,000 - USD $90,000 per year, with actual offers depending on experience and other factors. The total compensation may include additional elements, discussed during hiring. This is an at-will position with potential salary modifications.
