Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Communications, Policy and Data Analyst to support program management, tasking execution, strategic planning, policy review, metrics generation and reporting activities at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This role will be responsible for providing support to a unit-specific data that executes numerous data analytics productions and executive tasking responses daily. This position is fully remote and available to candidates within the Continental United States (CONUS), with the possibility of in-person work in DC on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

1. Provide data analysis and communications support on activities including drafting responses to congressional correspondence, requests for information, unit-specific taskings, and documentation for senior leadership.
2. Build and maintain collaborative and strategic relationships with federal law enforcement managers and subject matter experts.
3. Analyze, interpret, and convey complex and technical mission-related policies, procedures, and programs using clear language.
4. Track and report the progress of high-profile tasks, subtasks, and reports.
5. Assist clients and team members with ad hoc requests, research, process improvement, and special projects.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and compile information for timely responses to requests and assignments.
7. Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to address client needs and challenges.
8. Support cross-discipline team members to ensure project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met.
9. Develop, disseminate, and manage information and documentation among customers and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of work experience.
• Experience working in a dynamic, quick-turnaround US government environment.

Clearance Required: Ability to attain and maintain DHS clearance (US citizenship required)

Salary Range

USD $80,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 per year. The actual salary may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and internal policies. Compensation packages may include additional elements, discussed during hiring. This is an at-will employment position with potential salary modifications.
