3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Monday - Friday, some weekends may be required.
Under general supervision, the Communications Officer is responsible for processing and prioritizing emergency and non‑emergency calls from the JSU community and general public, and for disseminating information to the appropriate public safety personnel. The Communications Officer acts as the communications hub for the entire campus and must be able to quickly assess the situation and dispatch appropriate personnel.
