Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Communications Network Engineer Senior to design, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise networks across LAN, WAN, and LAN. The role supports DoD-grade operations with Cisco equipment and large-scale infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, and LAN networks supporting mission-critical operations.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize Cisco routers, switches, and related network devices.
• Analyze network performance, identify connectivity issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Support network integration efforts involving large-scale computer and communications systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute network upgrades, migrations, cutovers, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Coordinate with end users, system admins, engineering teams, and remote sites to support network changes.
• Perform network testing, validation, and troubleshooting during deployment and sustainment activities.
• Monitor network health and performance using enterprise management tools.
• Implement network configurations per DoD security requirements and standards.
• Support incident response and outage resolution across dispersed environments.
• Maintain detailed network diagrams and change management records.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams for secure operations.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Communications Network Engineer Senior to support a federal defense organization focused on enterprise collaboration, workflow automation, and mission-critical business systems. This position is on-site in Norfolk, VA or Washington, DC. The Communications Network Engineer Senior will be responsible for designing, administering, troubleshooting, & maintaining enterprise network environments across LAN/BAN/WAN. This role supports large-scale, integrated network environments & requires hands-on expertise with Cisco networking technologies, network performance optimization, system migrations, & enterprise communications infrastructure supporting secure government operations.

Compensation for the SharePoint / Power Platform Developer include:

• Salary Range: $90,000-95,000 depending on experience
