PCI Federal (PCIF) seeks a Communications / Media Specialist to develop strategic, scientific communications translating DNPAO evidence, programs, and impacts into clear, culturally appropriate materials for varied audiences. You will craft fact sheets, Q&As, scripts, and message plans, ensuring plain language, accessibility, and CDC clearance.
The role supports the Office of Policy, Partnerships, and Communications and requires collaboration with CDC experts, leadership, and partner
Position Status: Contingent upon contract award.
Develop strategic, scientific, and public health communications that translate DNPAO's evidence, program activities, findings, and impacts into clear, culturally appropriate, accessible products for varied audiences. This role directly supports DNPAO's Office of Policy, Partnerships, and Communications and related program teams by developing clear, accurate, culturally appropriate, and audience-specific materials on nutrition, physical activity, obesity prevention, arthritis, Tribal health, ECE, and FHWP initiatives. Work may include fact sheets, message maps, Q&As, scripts, issue briefs, web content, email products, presentations, success stories, and strategic message plans that meet CDC clearance, plain-language, citation, and Section 508 requirements.
