Description & Requirements

We’re looking for a dynamic Corporate Communications Manager to join our global Communications team at Bloomberg’s headquarters in New York City. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role focused on media relations as well as crafting and amplifying strategic communications for senior executives — helping drive Bloomberg’s business objectives through compelling storytelling that resonates.

The role reports directly to the company’s corporate spokesman and partners closely with the global chief communications officer and other senior executives, gaining broad exposure to a variety of issues at the forefront of business, media and technology.

We'll trust you to:

  • Write, research and edit executive updates and newsletters, as well as support writing blog posts, talking points, speeches and social media posts — regularly on tight deadlines.
  • Develop and amplify impactful messaging through a range of channels, including social media, for senior executives, aligned to Bloomberg’s business goals.
  • Support media relations efforts, from helping to track media inquiries and managing press at onsite events to research and media monitoring and analysis.
  • Collaborate across teams with an “owner’s mindset” to make our communications sharper and more innovative.
  • Support high-profile internal and external events from a media and messaging perspective.
  • Translate complex topics into clear, engaging narratives to build reputation and thought leadership.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, global news, and emerging technology — including AI tools — to elevate our communications efforts.
Who you are:
  • A fast learner, strong writer, and creative storyteller who thrives in a fast-moving, news-driven environment.
  • A self-starter who’s collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about effective communications.
  • Someone with a proactive mindset and a constant drive to learn and grow.
You’ll Need to Have:
  • A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of professional experience in communications, journalism, public affairs, speechwriting, or a related field.
  • Deep interest in global news, media, geopolitics, finance, technology, and philanthropy.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.
We’d love to see
  • Strong knowledge of global affairs and the evolving influence of media coverage of issues.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, regulatory topics, and Bloomberg’s products — especially the Bloomberg Terminal.
  • Multimedia skills, including comfort using AI tools and tech platforms for audio, video, and digital publishing.
