Keeper is hiring a bright and talented Communications Intern to assist Keeper’s Global Communications team this Fall/Winter. This is a 100% remote internship with a hybrid option for candidates in the Chicago, IL metro area.

The internship runs for six months and offers paid experience in public relations and social media. You will support daily tasks, content creation, and messaging for internal and external audiences under the Communications Director's mentorship.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong desire to learn and professional drive to succeed.
• Interest in Keeper’s products, cybersecurity and industry trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience drafting internal/external communications: memos, press releases, media advisories.
• Copywriting and engaging social media content experience.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to assist with reporting data, scheduling content, and updating media pages.
• Currently enrolled in a related BS or master's degree is preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office.

About The Role

The Communications Intern will be mentored by and report to Keeper’s Communications Director and will be responsible for supporting the Communications and Social Media teams on daily tasks and projects. This is a fall and winter internship with a fixed 6 month duration.

This is a paid internship designed to offer professional experience. Please note that we do not offer school credit for this internship.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and be personable and dependable
• Familiarity with drafting internal and/or external communications content including employee memos, press releases and media advisories
• Experience copywriting and creating engaging social media content
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to assist in administrative duties including reporting performance data, scheduling social media content and updating media page on website
• Current enrollment in a related BS or master’s degree is preferred
• Basic working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Products
