Job summary

Nashville Public Library seeks a Begin Bright Communications and Events Associate to manage multi-channel communications for Begin Bright and Bringing Books to Life, including e-newsletters, social media, print collateral, and digital resources. You will plan educational events for early childhood educators, childcare directors, and families throughout Davidson County.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Education or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Additional related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manages communications for Begin Bright and Bringing Books to Life’s programming, including newsletters, social media, print collateral and digital resources.
• Plans educational events for early childhood educators, childcare directors, and families.
• Ensures messaging cohesion across platforms and programming.
• Analyzes usage and impact data, prepares reports for stakeholders.
• Develops and implements B2B and B2C communications strategies.
• Maintains inventory of marketing materials and collaborates with Marketing & Communications.
