Job summary

Asia Society in New York City is seeking a Manager for Communications and Engagement in its Center for China Analysis. This role will enhance the visibility and impact of CCA’s research on China through strategic communications.

The ideal candidate will have strong policy fluency, experience in a communications role, and the ability to translate complex information into engaging narratives for diverse audiences. The full-time position requires collaboration with researchers, media, and public leaders.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of progressively responsible experience in communications, preferably in a think tank, research institute, or policy organization.
• Demonstrated familiarity with China’s domestic and foreign policy debates.
• Exceptional English writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy.
• Manage CCA’s digital presence across multiple platforms.
• Draft press releases, newsletter copy, and social media content.
