We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to become the next Communications Director for the Knox Regional Communications Center (KRCC). This position represents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the continued growth and improvement of our KRCC. As the Communications Director, you will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to provide vital support to the public safety agencies that diligently serve our community.
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual who will be instrumental in making a significant contribution to the ongoing revitalization of the KRCC. The ideal candidate will be able to offer innovative insights and contribute to the cultivation of a positive and productive atmosphere for our employees.

Compensation and Benefits:
The starting annual pay range is $76,648.00 - $107,328.00, depending on related experience. The County provides an excellent benefits package to full-time employees, including 100% paid coverage on health insurance for the employee and 75% paid dependents, paid vacation and sick leave, retirement plan options, and other voluntary benefits.
Knox County is interested in candidates who possess a minimum four years of management experience, preferably within the realm of public safety or 9-1-1 systems, coupled with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with our stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be expected to complete the requisite training and obtain the necessary certifications to become a certified 9-1-1 Dispatcher, should they not already possess this certification.
