Job summary

Christwood in Covington, VA is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support the Marketing Department by creating and managing digital and print communications. You will handle social media, website updates, graphic design, photography, newsletters, public relations, media coordination, and administrative support to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.

Qualified candidates have experience with WordPress, Canva, and Microsoft Office, strong writing and organizational skills,

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Journalism, or related field.
• WordPress, Canva, and Microsoft Office experience.
• Strong writing, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Christwood's social media platforms.
• Maintain and update website content using WordPress.
• Design marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, advertisements, signage, presentations, and digital graphics.
• Capture photographs for marketing materials, social media, and organizational communications.
• Produce newsletters, email communications, and press releases.
• Coordinate advertising schedules, media relationships, and publication deadlines.
• Maintain Christwood's brand standards across all communication channels.
• Organize digital marketing assets and communication calendars.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Marketing Department.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
