Job summary

The Council on Foundations seeks an Associate, Communications to manage projects from ideation to execution, balancing multiple deadlines and stakeholders across internal and external teams. You will craft messaging, draft external content, and support the Council’s storytelling and digital strategy.

You will write, edit and polish material for press, meetings and online channels, collaborating with editors and outside writers to maintain consistent, effective communications for philanthropy

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in communications, journalism or related field.
• Bachelor degree in communications, journalism, English or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Write on philanthropy topics to uplift the field.
• Support storytelling efforts of the Council.
• Gather information from internal stakeholders for external content.
• Research topics to prepare first drafts for external content.
• Edit and proofread drafts for external distribution.
• Coordinate with departments to stay updated on philanthropy trends.
• Write and edit press releases supporting initiatives.
