Job summary

Covenant Retirement Communities & Covenant Care seeks a Communications and Public Relations Coordinator to support strategic communications, strengthen reputation, and drive occupancy and growth across senior living communities.

You will blend journalism instincts with multimedia content, write video scripts, draft press materials, and collaborate with marketing, operations, and community teams to elevate brand visibility. Reports to the Director of Public Relations.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing and storytelling demonstrated in portfolio.
  • Experience in media relations and content development for senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into engaging content and scripts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and execution of integrated communications and PR strategies.
  • Build relationships with local, regional, and national media.
  • Draft press releases, statements, and media materials.
  • Write feature articles and interview-based profiles.
  • Create video scripts and collaborate on video production.
  • Develop internal and external content across newsletters, talking points, and campaigns.
  • Support crisis communication planning and reputation management.

Join us!The Communications and Public Relations Coordinator will assist in developing and executing strategic communications to enhance Covenant Living’s reputation, strengthen community trust, and support occupancy and growth goals.
