Job summary

Compass Point Federal, an AKIMA Company, recruiting a Communications Analyst for Fort Gordon, GA to support the US Army Cyber Center of Excellence. The role covers capability research, development, and management for Network and Services Portfolio, including NetOps and transport, with emphasis on current and future Army capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years’ experience developing, integrating, and submitting requirements documents
  • Three years of experience with requirements and capability development documentation and approval processes
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent job experience
  • Current Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS if required

Responsibilities

  • Analyze joint and Army cyberspace, Signal, EW, and information concepts to determine required capabilities.
  • Coordinate with CDIDs and CoEs to deliver current warfighting requirements and identify future capabilities.
  • Determine and synchronize DOTMLPF solutions and capture information in capability mappings.
  • Research, manage, analyze, and document doctrine, organizations, training, and policy implications.
  • Analyze cyberspace, Signal, EW, and information capability requirements to merge and de-conflict needs.
  • Edit documents for grammar and format; ensure correct language standards.

Job description

Compass Point Federal (Compass Point) an AKIMA Company is hiring a Communications Analyst with experience and expertise in network operations, transport, services, and infrastructure support in support of the US Army Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) in Fort Gordon, Georgia. This position is responsible for performing capability research, development, analysis, and management work in support of the Network and Services Portfolio.

Assist Army Capability Manager N&S in requirements management and provide technical expertise for current and future Army Expeditionary and Enterprise Information and Network Operations (NetOps), Network Transport to include Line of Sight and Beyond Line of Sight/Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Information Services and Services Infrastructure, and Communications Security (COMSEC)/Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) procedures, processes, and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze joint and Army cyberspace, Signal, EW, and information concepts to determine associated required capabilities Conducting research and analysis required to further understand, develop and refine C-CDID-NS efforts.
  • Coordinate with other CDIDs and CoEs to execute the CoE functions of delivering current warfighting requirements, identifying future capabilities, integrating DOTMLPF domains, and presenting recommendations.
  • Determine and integrate force requirements and synchronize the development of DOTMLPF solutions. Capture this information in capability mapping or strategic frameworks.
  • Research, manage, analyze, and document requirements for doctrine, organizations, training, leader development and education, materiel, personnel, facilities and policy implications.
  • Analyze, design, and assess cyberspace, Signal, EW, and other information capability requirements, concepts, and resources to merge, de-conflict, and synchronize functional, organizational, and DOTMLPF capability requirements and solutions.
  • Knowledge of JCIDS.
  • Knowledge of Joint and service Signal/Communications organizations and their functions.
  • Knowledge of Signal related Army/Joint Doctrine and policies.
  • Ability to edit documents for correct grammar and format.
  • Knowledge in computer automation software (have a working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Spreadsheets, Outlook, Outlook Calendars, etc.).
Qualifications
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an action officer in developing, integrating, and submitting requirements documents IAW the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System, Defense Acquisition System, and force management processes. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience with requirements and capability development documentation and approval processes.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent job experience.
  • Current Secret with ability to ability to obtain TS if required.
