This posting is intended to establish a pool of qualified adjunct candidates for anticipated instructional needs for 2027. Actual hiring and course assignments are contingent upon enrollment, scheduling demands, program needs, and funding availability. Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. We are currently seeking adjunct faculty members to teach speech and general communications courses.
Please note: This wide salary range reflects the diverse faculty ranks within the Virginia Community College System ( VCCS ). Final salary determination and placement within this range are based on the candidate’s academic credentials and occupational experience as evaluated via the VCCS -10 process.
