Course:Digital Media and Culture

This course provides students the opportunity to acquire a deeper understanding of how digital technologies are transforming our society and culture. It also offers them the tools to analyze a wide variety of media texts targeted to multiple audiences while exploring the cultural issues raised by new communication technologies.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
  • Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
  • Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

*Teaching experience required

  • PhD in Communication
  • OR Master's in Communication AND coursework in Digital Media
  • Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master's in any field possessing either: 18 graduate credits in Communications AND coursework in Digital Media OR has substantial teaching experience
