Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Communications Manager (Secret Clearance) to support MTCCS II programs at Ft Wainwright Alaska. You will lead multi-domain IT operations, coordinate networks, and ensure cybersecurity posture for distributed exercises.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, DoD/NIST framework knowledge, and IAM II baseline certification. Onsite work in Alaska, with strong collaboration across Ops, Cyber, Network, and Simulations teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience; Military and MTC experience preferred.
• SEC+ or equivalent IAM II baseline certification and DoD 8570.01-M alignment expected.

Responsibilities

• Implements information system security solutions and cybersecurity support for multi-domain activities across training enclaves.
• Designs and executes technical support and integration for all training environments and events.
• Manages IT, communications, and network systems and personnel for daily operations and exercises.
• Creates communications architecture, coordinates plans, and installs equipment for distributed exercises.
• Ensures cybersecurity risk management procedures and operational security posture are maintained across networks.
