Job summary

Leidos LLC in Columbia, MD seeks a product tester to conduct IT product security tests for Common Criteria evaluation in Leidos’ AT&E Laboratory. The role requires independent testing, interaction with developers, and development of test procedures to enable test execution.

Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, PKI, and IT security is essential. Some in-office presence is required with part-time telework options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience with network traffic and protocol analysis (Wireshark, TShark, tcpdump).
• Familiarity with IT security products and concepts (encryption, VPN, PKI).
• Experience with SDLC methods and tools (GitLab, JIRA, Subversion, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document security functional tests to justify product compliance.
• Work with IT product vendors to determine applicability of security standards.
• Provide troubleshooting recommendations when noncompliance is found and assist in lab setup.
• Produce documentation describing how IT products conform to security requirements.
