You will perform cleaning tasks, assist with laundry as needed, and participate in required in-services and staff meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in housekeeping highly desired.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.
• Polite and courteous to all residents, visitors, co-workers and management team.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of the facility, focusing on common areas and apartment bathrooms.
• Complete maintenance request reports when needed.
• Report deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to housekeeping supervisor.
• Operate laundry equipment when needed.
• Store and manage cleaning supplies per policy.
• Clean office areas when assigned.
• Dust and clean window blinds, furniture, and resident areas.
• Vacuum common areas and resident apartments.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.
