Gas South, LLC is seeking a Commodity Supply Analyst 1 to analyze and report on trading, scheduling, and related data. You will support SRM, AFT, Ops, and Sales by preparing and presenting complex data for internal and external customers while ensuring regulatory and contractual obligations are met.

The role requires curiosity, independence, and teamwork. Location includes Atlanta, GA, with a pay range of $76,000–$79,000 USD and annual incentive eligibility.

Qualificações

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, business admin or engineering.
• Ability to develop knowledge of pipelines, LDCs, utilities, and gas transactions.

Responsabilidades

• Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Analyzes and reconciles commodity, transportation, and financial transactions and positions, plus volumetric data and pricing for invoices and remittances.
• Compiles and evaluates market data and company information to determine trends.
• Develops and maintains SRM, AFT and executive reports.
• Negotiates with internal and external parties for dispute resolution.
• Work closely with AFT to provide financial data to assist in closing the month.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Then the Commodity Supply Analyst 1 position may be the job for you! Commodity Supply Analyst provide leadership and support to our SRM, AFT, Ops, and Sales divisions by preparing, analyzing, and reporting complex data for both internal and external customers. Our Commodity Supply Analyst are responsible for ensuring that all financial, regulatory, and contractual obligations are met.

A successful candidate for this role is proactive, curious, and a good critical thinker. You are organized, thorough and appreciate progress. You can see the big picture yet also dig into the details to understand how things work to identify and drive improvements. You can work independently, but also love being part of a team that collaborates to achieve common goals.

Additional Responsibilities

Experience

Preferred Experience

• 0-3 years' experience working in back/middle office functions, preferred
• Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Basic understanding of running SQL queries and analyzing results

  Physical Requirements

  Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation while performing computer-based tasks, conducting meetings, and collaborating with colleagues.

  Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk within the office environment, such as when attending meetings, interacting with colleagues or external stakeholders, or visiting different departments.

  Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry material, files, or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, such as when organizing documents or setting up for meetings.

  Pay range is commensurate with education, experience, specialized skills or certifications, etc.
