Overview

We are supporting a key client of ours in the Civil Engineering / Construction space who are growing exponentially in the search for multiple professionals from Commodity Buyer to Director level. We are looking for candidates strong in Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Structural Architecture. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested!

Responsibilities

• Execute category sourcing strategies at a local, regional or global level.
• Develop of a Supplier Panel for specified commodities
• Establish supply agreements that take advantage of economies of scale and leverage spend on a regional level.
• Perform data analytics to identify opportunities to drive value through improved supply market solutions.
• Work with senior and executive stakeholders, business partners and the Strategic Sourcing team to resolve problems with contract interpretation and vendor performance.
• Develop Best Cost Country strategy with focus on Total Cost of Ownership

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Dipl.-Ing., industrial engineer or similar
• Several years of professional experience in Strategic Sourcing in Civil Structural and Architecture
• Ability to work with least amount of supervision, high self-motivation
• Strong networking and communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
