We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commodity Manager to oversee the strategic sourcing, procurement, and management of commodities critical to the business operations of Group Companies operating across various industries. The position, based in Miami, Florida, involves analyzing market trends, developing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining high-quality standards. The Commodity Manager will play a key role in driving efficiency and sustainability within the supply chain

Strategic Sourcing
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure the best value for the company.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues proactively.
Market Analysis
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the commodity space.
  • Provide forecasts and insights to support decision‑making.
Cost Management
  • Drive cost‑reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Manage budgets and track savings achieved through strategic sourcing.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams, including production, engineering, and logistics, to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
  • Ensure clear communication of specifications and requirements to suppliers.
Compliance & Sustainability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Promote sustainable and environmentally responsible sourcing practices.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Track and report key performance metrics for commodities.
  • Use data analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in commodity management, procurement, or supply chain roles.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations and contract management.
