Job summary

Mastronardi Produce is seeking a detail-oriented inspector to ensure product quality and assist in inventory allocations to meet customer specifications. The role collaborates with Commodity, Production, and Shipping teams to align daily plans with orders.

Responsibilities include signaling changes to allocations, ensuring rework is planned, and maintaining open communication across departments. Requires forklift safety testing and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Willing to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Detail oriented and proactive.
• Must pass onsite driving and safety test for forklift.
• Must have valid driver's license or eye exam.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Must learn significant Product/Industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sign off on product quality in inventory and/or at the dock to meet customer specifications
• Support Commodity Supervisors plan to create daily Production and Sales Order allocations
• Communicate all necessary changes to Commodity Supervisor, if needing to differ from prior allocations and/or plan
• Follow up to ensure any rework is allocated and/or planned in order to meet customer specifications
• Ensure allocations are updated and distributed throughout the day and executed as expected
• Coordinate and assist in communicating customer's expectations with the Commodity, Production, and Shipping teams
• Communicate with the team on issues and concerns
• Maintain regular communication with the Production Schedulers and Production Managers
• Maintain regular communication with Receiving, with specific emphasis on load priorities and product specifications
