Job summary

Mastronardi Produce in Livonia, MI is seeking a Quality Control professional for a day shift to support product inspections and ensure specifications are met. Qualifications

• Must pass Background Check and pre-employment Skills Testing.
• Must sign a confidentiality agreement upon hire.
• Must be a self-starter and willing to work flexible hours.
• Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Inspection/audit experiences and software applications are assets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all product meets or exceeds customer specifications.
• Ensure allocation is followed, validate correct product is pulled and shipped to customer.
• Assist Quality Control Inspection Supervisor with inspections and labeling.
• Flex between shipping, receiving, and production to assist with quality issues.
• Report exceptions to customer specifications to QC Supervisor.
• Send out Quality Issues Emails for Non-Compliant Product.
• Oversee floor operations when QC Supervisor is unavailable.
• Remember recent rejections and rejection trends.
• Ensure product packaging is presentable and presentation is of high standards.
• Perform other QC related tasks or special projects as assigned.
• Provide training when required.
