Job summary

Kentucky Farm Bureau offers an on-site internship in Louisville from May through July 2027. The role supports the Commodity Division with program assistance, research planning for events, and agricultural analysis of crops and livestock.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide program support for Commodity Division Programs including but not limited to: CFM farm visits and social media content.
• Assist with research and planning for 2028 KFB CFM and Beef Tour.
• Perform agriculture economic analysis of crops and livestock.
• Assist with planning and preparation of advisory committee meetings.
• Attend a district policy development meeting to learn about the policy development process.
• Assist with preparations for KFB Kentucky State Fair AgLand and/or Freddy Farm Bureau.
• Attend and assist at field days and county programming as applicable.
