Job summary

Onto Innovation is seeking a senior Supply Chain leader in Milpitas, CA, to drive strategic sourcing strategies and supplier relationships across key commodities. This role demands deep category management expertise, ERP system fluency, and proven negotiation skills to maximize efficiency and cost savings.

You will collaborate across functions to align plans with business goals, manage supplier performance, and evolve procurement processes for a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• BA in business or other quantitative field, or comparable experience.
• Minimum of 10+ years of operational experience with at least 5 years in a successful Supply Chain management role.
• Good working knowledge of ERP systems, and understands the roles of Master Scheduling, Material Planning and Procurement.
• Able to establish relationships and trust within the organization and the supply base. Able communicate effectively and succinctly on the needs of the business, the plan to achieve those needs, and the status of those plans.
• Highly motivated self-starter. Drives for results. Deals well with ambiguity. Outstanding quantitative skills. Thinks strategically. Innovative. Strong negotiating skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Shows work commitment. Possess a high stress tolerance. Change agent. Organizational agility; knows how to get things done. Ability to prioritize one’s work and negotiates internally to reset timelines based on changing priorities.

Compensation & Growth

Base Salary Range:

$144,000.00 - $216,000.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
