Job summary

Qualifications

  • Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with commission, incentive, or payroll systems is required.
  • Experience in the health insurance industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process commission system data entry and payments across product lines.
  • Respond to inquiries from producers and internal staff about commission calculations.
  • Test and validate system enhancements; gather data for audits and reporting.
  • Assist with audit requests and produce timely, accurate reporting.

The role will assist in maintaining commission systems, resolving discrepancies, responding to producer commission inquiries, data analysis, and testing system enhancements to support business operations.How You Contribute to the Company’s Mission In This RoleSupport the processing of commission and sales incentive payments across various product lines.Responds to routine inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding commission questions.Identifies discrepancies between commission agreements and system calculations.Supports audit requests and data gathering as needed.Tests and validates system enhancements.Gathers data for audit requests to present accurate and timely reporting.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Human Resources or related field requiredFour years of related experience can be used in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.Work Experience2 years of related experience with commission, incentive or payroll system is required.Experience in the health insurance industry is preferred.Skills and AbilitiesStrong verbal and written communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skillsAbility to accomplish tasks under time constraints and shifting priorities while ensuring accuracyMust have working knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g., Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) with a high level of competency in Excel.Capacity to adapt plans and approaches based on new information or changing circumstancesAbility to work cohesively in a team environmentMust be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and financial informationAbility to escalate issues as appropriate and in a timely fashionLicenses and CertificationsNoneAccountabilities and Essential FunctionsDaily operation and maintenance of the Commission System to include data entry, loading files, reviewing validation reports, reviewing payment information, and related tasksFirst tier support of issues/questions from producers and various internal personnel regarding commission system calculations via email and/or phoneCommunication between various internal departments for research and troubleshootingGathers data for audit requests to present accurate and timely reporting.Tests system enhancements during quarterly releases and as neededResponsible for timely and accurate completion of work tasks assigned.Participates in special projects, as assigned by management, to improve Commissions policies and procedures.The Physical Demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the Accountabilities and Essential Functions of the job.
