The Commissioning Technician role at Siemens supports our Springfield, OR office, serving customers in the greater Eugene area. You will contribute to the start-up, programming, commissioning, and validation of building automation systems on customer sites.

We seek candidates with HVAC or mechanical background, willingness to travel up to 20%, and the ability to work in challenging environments. You will collaborate with project teams and provide on-site technical support.

Commissioning Technicians participate in the estimating, tracking, start up and commission of projects, and will be the customer interface for all technical requirements of assigned projects.

You will provide expertise and knowledge throughout the system or service project lifecycle on customer sites. Our Commissioning Technician's technical expertise, project oversight, and customer interaction contribute to efficient project execution, satisfied clients, and optimized long-term performance of systems.

As a Commissioning Technician, you will:

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Foundational knowledge of HVAC or mechanical systems through a degree program, technical training, or hands-on experience in areas such as mechanical engineering, commissioning, sheet metal, pipefitting, or a related trade.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%.
• Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years' experience in the installation and / or maintenance of Building Automation systems.
