Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Commissioning Specialist to support a range of projects. The role offers independent work on smaller projects with mentorship on complex ones, plus a defined career path and training.

You will apply your 5+ years in MEP design and commissioning to execute building commissioning tasks, travel 50%+, and collaborate with project teams. TLC supports career growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in MEP design/construction administration, commissioning, building operations, test and balance technician, DDC controls technician, or related experience
• LEED accreditation preferred
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Computer hardware/software/network expertise as appropriate
• Ability to execute building commissioning and retro-commissioning tasks
• Commissioning Certification preferred (ACG CxT or CxA) or equivalent
• Ability and willingness to travel (50%+ visiting project sites)
• Knowledge in building automation and controls systems, HVAC, plumbing, life safety, lighting, emergency power, low voltage, renewables

Responsibilities
