Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead the commissioning of HV substations and battery storage projects nationwide. You will plan, execute, and manage commissioning activities across multiple projects, coordinating with Owners, EPC teams, and field staff to ensure safe, compliant turnover.

Hybrid role with onsite work at job sites and periodic remote work. Applicants should have 5+ years' experience in utility-scale commissioning and a proven track record leading complex

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commissioning, startup, testing, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional field teams and coordinating with owners and engineers.
• Ability to interpret contracts, interconnection requirements and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Own the HV or BESS commissioning scope across 2–3 concurrent projects.
• Develop commissioning execution plan, milestone and deliverables register, and resource forecast.
• Translate contract requirements into an executable commissioning work plan.
• Lead readiness reviews and ensure safety, quality, documentation, and turnover readiness.
• Coordinate field teams, OEMs, testing providers, and witness requirements.
