Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Commissioning Lead to oversee all commissioning activities from Pre-Commissioning through startup, ensuring safe, timely delivery and alignment with project objectives. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with construction and operations, and drive turnover processes with a focus on quality and safety.

The role requires extensive experience on large projects, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor engineers and technicians while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent experience or technical qualification with extensive practical experience
• Experience across large projects: contractual obligations, construction and commissioning, documentation, start-up, QC/QA, safety and environment
• Broad knowledge of installation, testing and operation of Mechanical, Instrumentation, Piping and Electrical Systems

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate commissioning activities daily, ensuring safety standards and HSSE objectives are met
• Drive turnover processes from construction to operations, including documentation, punch lists and testing
• Lead multi-discipline teams and mentor personnel to optimize performance and deliverables
• Develop and maintain scope of work documentation for commissioning and ensure alignment with project goals
• Provide clear direction, attend daily meetings, and manage vendor interfaces and commissioning staff
