Job summary

WSP USA in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Commissioning Agent to lead building commissioning across new, re/retro, and existing projects. You will perform energy audits, support sustainability certifications, and apply M&V techniques for performance verification.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 3–5 years of commissioning experience, with travel flexibility and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, safety, and energy efficiency outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in building/system commissioning.
• Familiar with commissioning principles and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute building commissioning processes for new and existing construction.
• Perform energy audits and retrofit analyses.
• Support sustainability certification applications (LEED, Energy Star).
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems.
• Lead meetings, prepare reports, and track schedules.
• Support business development activities when appropriate.
