Job summary

WSP USA seeks an Intermediate Consultant - Commissioning to advance building commissioning on high-profile projects. The role entails executing commissioning for new and existing facilities, auditing energy use, and supporting sustainability certifications in collaboration with design teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1–3 years in commissioning, with strong communication and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of post-education commissioning experience.
• Familiarity with commissioning principles and design/build processes.
• Reading design drawings in mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Ability to travel and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard building commissioning for new and existing construction.
• Perform design reviews for commissioning activities.
• Support LEED, Energy Star, and other sustainability certifications.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and control systems scopes.
• Prepare meetings, reports, and maintain schedules with stakeholders.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and professional conduct in projects.
