Job summary

Pylontech is seeking an on-site Commissioning Engineer (Energy Storage Systems) to support delivery across the DACH region. You will be the technical representative during project execution, ensuring successful installation, commissioning, and handover of our storage systems to customers.

You will lead site activities, perform testing, coordinate with EPCs, and prepare handover records. English fluency is required and German is preferred for professional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in project delivery, commissioning, or field engineering.
• Hands-on experience with C&I energy storage or power projects preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with energy storage architecture including LV/HV and grid connection.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
• Fluent in English; German proficiency for professional communication.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on-site delivery and technical implementation of energy storage systems, including:
• Pre-commissioning inspections
• Installation guidance and supervision
• System energization and commissioning
• System integration, testing, and functional validation
• Interface with EPC contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues during project execution
• Conduct Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and support final project handover
• Provide technical recommendations and improvement solutions based on on-site findings
• Prepare commissioning documentation, technical reports, and handover records

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Renewable Energy, or related fields
• Minimum 1 year of experience in project delivery, commissioning, or field engineering
• Hands‑on experience with Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy storage or power projects is strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Familiarity with energy storage system architecture, including LV/HV systems and grid connection principles
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on, proactive approach
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe
• Fluent in English; German proficiency required for professional communication
