Job summary

Modular Mission Critical is the manufacturing campus for M.C. Dean’s modular product line for datacenters and critical infrastructure, located just north of Richmond, VA. This role focuses on commissioning of low and medium voltage equipment in field and manufacturing settings.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of electrical experience are required. The position offers travel to customer sites, a competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 2+ years of electrical experience.
• Experience with commissioning, inspection, and testing of electrical components is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical sketches and data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Assist commissioning specialist with coordinating and reviewing electrical deliverables
• Prepare and review electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets
• Perform basic electrical calculations
• Review supplier documentation for compliance with specs
• Access department guides and standards via the internal site
• Basic knowledge of commissioning, inspection and testing
• Knowledge of basic electrical engineering theories
• Familiarity with switchgear, transformers, breakers, relays, UPS and related test equipment
• Proficient technical writing
• Knowledge of advanced mathematics
• Awareness of industry codes and standards
• Good communications skills
• Willing to travel to customer sites
