Job summary

Aperture Group in the United States is seeking a Commissioning Engineer for Warehouse Automation to lead the commissioning of automated material handling systems, from pre-commissioning through go-live and signoff.

You will configure, test, and troubleshoot Beckhoff PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety devices, and electromechanical equipment; support PLC software configuration and live testing; interface with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS); and coordinate with engineering, controls, service, and

Qualifications

• 4 year Engineering degree required in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of commissioning, controls, field service, or automation experience preferred.
• Experience with material handling, warehouse automation, robotics, or industrial/manufacturing automation.
• Comfortable with 75%+ travel (typically travel home Friday and return Monday).
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, VFD, conveyor, and electromechanical systems preferred.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of commissioning, controls, field service, or automation experience preferred.


• Experience with material handling, warehouse automation, robotics, or industrial/manufacturing automation.


• Must be comfortable with 75%+ travel (typically travel home Friday and return to the project site Monday, allowing for weekends at home)


• Any experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, VFD, conveyor, and electromechanical experience preferred.


• 4 year Engineering degree required - Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related discipline.


• Strong hands on troubleshooting and problem solving skills.


• Must be comfortable working at heights up to approximately 85 feet with proper safety equipment.


• Must be comfortable working in cold storage/harsh industrial environments.
