Schneider Electric is seeking a Commissioning Engineer – Modular Data Center OEM to lead commissioning, testing, and validation of factory-built data center systems in a manufacturing environment.
You will develop FAT plans, perform functional and performance tests of power, cooling, and control systems, and coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure design intent and customer requirements are met before shipment.
The Commissioning Engineer – Modular Data Center OEM is responsible for commissioning, testing, and validating prefabricated and modular data center systems within a manufacturing environment. The role ensures that factory-built electrical, mechanical, and control systems meet design intent, customer specifications, and applicable industry standards prior to shipment and site deployment.
Electrical: MV/LV switchgear, UPS systems, battery systems, PDUs, busway, generators, ATS/STS. Controls & Monitoring: PLC-based control systems, BMS, EPMS, remote monitoring platforms.
This position operates primarily in an OEM manufacturing facility with exposure to energized equipment. Travel to customer sites may be required for site integration and acceptance testing. Extended hours may be required during critical testing milestones.
