Job summary

Pogue Construction seeks a Cx Coordinator to keep commissioning organized, on schedule, and tightly tied to construction on our data center projects.

You will coordinate commissioning activities across levels 1–5, build and maintain the commissioning schedule, track equipment delivery and testing, and assemble turnover documentation for owner handoff. Strong organization and MEP/commissioning knowledge required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commissioning, MEP construction, or mission-critical project coordination.
• Working knowledge of switchgear, generators, UPS systems, chillers, and building controls or power monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with data center commissioning levels and owner-driven testing requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing large volumes of documentation across many trades.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; scheduling software familiarity is a plus.
• Preferred credentials: ACG CxA or similar commissioning certification, OSHA 30
• GC-side or MEP contractor-side experience preferred over owner-side or facilities operations backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commissioning activities across Levels 1 through 5, from factory witness testing through integrated systems testing.
• Build and maintain the commissioning schedule in coordination with our scheduler and superintendents.
• Track equipment delivery, installation verification, startup, and functional performance testing for power, cooling, and controls systems.
• Collect, review, and log startup documentation, checklists, and test reports from subcontractors.
• Maintain the commissioning issues log and drive open items to closure with the trades.
• Run commissioning coordination meetings with the owner, commissioning agent, and trade partners.
• Assemble O&M manuals, as-builts, and turnover documentation for owner handoff.
• Work closely with the QC team and field leadership so installation quality supports a clean commissioning process

About the role

Pogue is a 100% employee-owned general contractor expanding in data center and mission-critical construction. We are building a ground-up data center campus and need a Cx Coordinator to keep commissioning organized, on schedule, and tied tightly to construction. You will be the connection between our field team, our subcontractors, the owner, and the commissioning agent.
