Job summary

Highland Commissioning, LLC in Texas is seeking a motivated Commissioning Agent to join our growing team. You will lead and support testing, verification, troubleshooting, and documentation of BAS and MEP systems on commercial construction projects.

You will work directly with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and facility staff to ensure building systems are installed, tested, and operating per project requirements, design intent, and industry standards.

Qualifications

Highland Commissioning, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commissioning Agent to join our growing team. This position is ideal for experienced commissioning professionals, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Controls Technicians, Engineers-in-Training (EITs), or building systems specialists who are passionate about ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of building systems.
The successful candidate will lead and support the testing, verification, troubleshooting, and documentation of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on commercial construction projects. The Commissioning Agent will work directly with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and facility staff to verify that building systems are installed, tested, and operating in accordance with project requirements, design intent, and industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to apply technical expertise, manage commissioning projects, mentor junior staff, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the construction and occupancy process.
