Job Overview:

We seek ambitious, results-driven sales professionals to represent our services in the U.S. This is a 100% commission-based role with no base salary, ideal for self-starters confident in closing deals and eager to be rewarded for their results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential U.S. clients relying on COBOL systems needing modernization, development, or support.
  • Communicate the value of CobolCore’s solutions to IT managers, directors, and C-level executives.
  • Build trust and guide prospects through the sales process to close deals.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships to ensure satisfaction and future upselling.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and challenges faced by legacy system users.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in IT services, software development, or consulting.
  • Basic knowledge of COBOL and mainframe environments, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.
  • Self-motivated with independent time management skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on performance and client satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of North American business culture and sales cycles.

Nice to Have:

  • Contacts in the IT or legacy systems space.
  • Experience selling legacy modernization or COBOL services.
  • Understanding of IBM mainframe architecture and enterprise systems.
