Job Overview:

We’re looking for ambitious and results-driven sales professionals to join our team and represent our services in the U.S. market. This is a 100% commission-based role with no base salary or cost support — perfect for self-starters who trust in their ability to close deals and want to be rewarded directly for their results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the U.S. that rely on COBOL systems and are in need of modernization, development, or support.
  • Effectively communicate the value of CobolCore’s solutions to IT managers, directors, and C-level executives.
  • Build trust and guide prospects through the sales process to close new business deals.
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and upsell future opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and challenges faced by companies operating legacy systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in IT services, software development, or consulting.
  • Basic knowledge of COBOL and mainframe environments, or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time independently.
  • Strong focus on goals, performance, and client satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with North American business culture and sales cycles.

Nice to Have:

  • A network of contacts in the IT or legacy systems space.
  • Previous experience selling services related to legacy modernization or COBOL development.
  • Understanding of IBM mainframe architecture and enterprise systems.
